Customizing the course listings (directory)

Thank you in advance for any help, I would like to style  the course listings to show only one row of info when displaying courses (like Relias.com), I found this documentation on how to make those changes here , but those directions are over 3 years old and the class.php and customizer.php (renamed from wplms_customizer.php?) seem to have changed a lot. Can you please point me in the right direction? I do a lot of php/mysql/wordpress development, just need to find the right files :) THANKS!  -Steve

Hi; This knowledgebase article was close, but it is 3 years old and the files have changed a lot, can you please tell me how to make this edit: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/method-for-adding-custom-details-in-course-directory-page/ but using the new coding structure? I see a new filters.php, class.php, and customizer.php but any edits I make show briefly while loading then disappears, any help will be appreciated, I just want a single row course listing with a few fields... private message is OK here too, thank you.
