difference in uploading unit packages

Hi could you please tell me when adding a unit package what is the difference between scorm package, tincan package and HTML package? Thanks

Well scorm is for scorm api courses .this is the most common type of packages used . tincan is another package type like scorm , it just follow a different standard .https://scorm.com/tincanoverview/ html is simple html package which are embedded in iframes.

Thanks for the reply Im just wondering, If I don't know what they mean how will instructors understand the difference? Is there a wplms guide explanation on the difference?
