no the notification in the wp-admin area is not the cause of the issue
can you please be more specific about the emails which email is not sending
Now the only email I receive is User registration (admin email).
All student activities are missed, for example, when a student finishes course the instructor does not receive any notification.

if one email is working then it is sure that there is no issue with the emails
check if you have enabled the touch point for the same and also share the de†ails with us so we can check the same on your site
