First steps dashboard

We are having great problems to take the first steps of configuring the dashboard (student profile and instructor profile) ... so I wanted to know where I can see / read a tutorial in which all the functionalities and the first steps are explained ... It would be very very very helpful :) Thank you very much in advance!
