Add in wp-admin > appearance > customize > custom css
To remove review stars

display:none !important;

And yes I deactivated those plugins which are not compatible with version 4

The code worked to remove the review stars and to change the size of the "More Details" button; however, I am sorry, it does not fix the height of the courses.
