Full Page Course Template Default to Closed Menu instead of open

We are using the full page template, such as the one referred to here. https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/course-status-templates/ When a user starts the course, the side pane on the left side is always open, and the user has to click an arrow at the top left of the page to close the sidebar.  How can we default the course so that the left side is always CLOSED when the user starts the course, and they have to click the arrow to open the side panel on their own. How can we make this the default behavior for ALL of our courses?  What changes are needed to make the courses start from a closed arrow position?

Hi, 1. we can do this only through script, there is not any other way to do this. 2. Yes it can be done. If you want this then please reply.
