Hiding Attachments

Is there a way to hide attachments (downloads) from a unit page? Some of my units show attachment downloads, others don't. Would like to hide on all units so students CANNOT access or download attachments.

If you do not want your students to see attachments, then why are you uploading them ? Remove the attachments from the unit's content and it won't show any attachments.

I didn't realize I was uploading them as attachments. I created most of my units from the back end and they got attached when I added media to a unit page.  I thought the media files were simply being added to the unit, not attached to the unit.  That doesn't happen when you create a unit from the front end course creation module. I was able to go into media library and detach all the media files from the units.
