how to put selfhosted videos in a page.

I asm trying to palce a selfhosted video ona  page, but the option to do so are video and youtubevideo. In video, the program asks for a url, when i place the url of the selfhosted video https://pindorama.org.br/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/48349417_1473344572809169_6737381262975041536_n.mp4 it shows the written code on the page and not the video.

I Have no mistaken the issue. I am trying to insert a video using VC.

Okay we looked into it . The things is you are using direct video link that is uploaded to your site media library which that element in VC does not support . Please check its docs : https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/learning-more/content-elements/#ContentElements-VideoPlayer   It does works only with video links of these sites : https://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds#Okay.2C_So_What_Sites_Can_I_Embed_From.3F    for video from your site there is already [video] shortcode available for that. If you want to use the VC video player for your own hosted video then im sorry mate you cannot as of now as this is not available by VC as of now . You have to upload that video on either of these sites    in order to use Vc video player
