I want some units to be optional and some to not optional

Hi, I have a course in which there are total 6 units, out of which 1,5,6 I want mandatory and 2,3,4 not mandatory. So how can I achieve this? Using unit media lock I tried, but unit media settings are global, I want it unit-wise. Please guide.

Yes, for mandatory user must view that unit completely, and for optional units user can move to next unit without watching that unit.
