I switched to 4.0 with a course of 495 units and quizzes in total. However, I'm having problems with shortcodes, so I'm editing existing units to remove shortcodes and make some other changes. But while editing, my text formatting is lost (where I use custom css), watch video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PcWf82zQ3ZNRXSoAjHKKva_ejglp1XtB/view?usp=sharing Also, I can't change the type of existing unit from general to H5P to add a H5P element to it. So, my questions: 1) is it possible to save the layout and formatting of the unit text in your new editor in 4.0; 2) how can I change the unit type from general to H5P?

1 . Well it seems like that you have created the units with some editor , did you use visual composer or elementor for the units or edited it using the simple wp editor ? 2 . Well changing it is not available right now , we are adding support for it in upcoming updates of wplms_plugin

    1. Edited it using the simple wp editor (text mode, custom css).
    2. Will it available in the next update? I must know, because I don't have time to wait long, and without it the course is not working, I will have to completely redo it.

The issue is that you created the content in the WP admin editor which is not pure HTML : https://prnt.sc/u51jlp So, it means that you can not edit the course from Front end editor otherwise you will loose all the styling. The inline Editor generates pure HTML. Checking and sharing further details on this.

Currently this is garbled in the WP Editor as well : https://prnt.sc/u51lty Let me fix this on the WPLMS Editor for you and see if things work.

Media not showing issue resolved. The instructor privacy is by default enabled in the Fetch media. And it seems you added media from a different user.

I built a custom css system on my website and used it on all units/posts: https://prnt.sc/u51u3d In fact, it is enough for me to have the opportunity to change the unit from general to H5P in the WP-editor. In this case, I do not need to enter through the frontend editor. Your front-end editor is very convenient, but for its consistent use I need to rewrite all units in it. I wouldn't need to go back to the old units at all if their openings weren't blocked by shortcodes.

ok, so, I am going to add a fix in your site. Meanwhile can you correct the display of the unit so, that I have a test case of how it should appear in the course. This is our test case : https://dyskurs.net/unit/leksychne-znachennia-slova/
