Okay i guess you taking about that you have uploaded a small featured image ad you need to upload a large featured image . So for that simply remove that featured image and then again upload that image in bigger size in media library then set this image as featured image . refer : http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDioIxizwU

I was able to understand from your explanation that you want the featured image on the post to be small a bit like this : http://prntscr.com/btld1g For that please add the given css from wp-admin -> appearance ->> customize -> custom css : .single .featured {     margin-bottom: 30px;     margin-right: 30px;     width: 50%;     display: inline-block;     clear: none;     float: left; }
