My cred points for sharing site on social media?

Hi, I think I remember reading somewhere that it is possible to award mycred points if someone shares a link to the website on FB, twitter, etc...    I have been looking around but I can't find anything to tell me how to do this.    Did I dream it? :-) Thanks in advance for your help, this theme is amazing.
