During upgrade to 4.0 framework, I cannot import courses during the setup wizard of VibeBP. I followed the instruction on your youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_x-HOMItL8&&ab_channel=VibeThemes), deactivating VibeCourse Module and Vibe Custom Type but there's no option to import Course Directory and Course Layout.
To test the migration, we are working on a staging site created using WP Staging plugin.
@LoomenStudio
Sometimes courses are not imported from our demo servers but that is not a point to be worried about. You can easily re-run the setup wizard and skip all those steps which are already done and then import the content again
If you are not able to do so, you can share your staging site URL with admin credentials in a private reply here. We will show you how to make this work
Hello Diana, I'm not talking about importing content from demo servers, but importing the actual courses that are hosted in our elearning site during the upgrade to the new WPLMS and VibeBP plugins.
Running the Setup Wizard for the VibeBP configuration, after deatctivating VibeCourse Module and Vibe Custom Type, there's no option to import Course Directory and Course Layout.
Finishing the configuration, the courses currently loaded on the platform are not there anymore...
Ok to check this up please share your site url and admin credentials in private reply .
There are actually a way . If you select the latest academy demo style in setup wizard and comes to import content page there you can uncheck all options except the course directory, course layouts, members layouts in order to import .
Ok, thank you.
This is a staging site, I have to migrate the production site to the new framework. Can you provide a step-by-step guide in case the same problem arises during the migration of the production site?
One more issue: I've noticed that in the admin panel I can't see course panel... https://imgur.com/a/YIc76fQ
you can migrate the database if your site is not live.
To get the directory and profiles . you can run the new wplms setup wizard and import the things you want : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTT2a-L3F8o
