No forum notification

Hello WPLMS, Kingly see video relating to issue https://vimeo.com/542035681 1. How does forum subscribed notification work? 2. where is the notification sent when someone post in a forum that a user has subscribed to. 3. When someone replies to a topic that a user created the author of the topic is not notified of the response.

Dear User, We are not sending any notification when some subscribe to forum because we are using BBPress Functionality here. As per my knowledge the plugin also do not support any notification sending functionality Sorry

So take your forum for example where we receive an email whenever a moderator responds to a topic. Is this feature not possible where a student can select a checkbox to 'Notify me of follow-up replies via email' Thanks KB

This is extended using third-party plugin, as BBpress Forum Support this Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress-auto-subscribe-for-new-topics-and-replies/ You can any other plugin as well which supports the latest version

Thanks @Diana, So just the conclude the subscribe button in the forums area for subscribing to a forum or subscribing to a forum topic is only cosmetic, it isn't linked to any functionality inform the user of updates to the forum or to the topic.
