I am setting up a system that is not reachable from the outside, and when I try to install some of the plugins, I get "<span style="color: #444444; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.5px; background-color: #f1f1f1;">Download failed. Could not resolve host"</span> How do I proceed ?

This error is coming because wordpress is not able to find the plugin there for downloading. You can always download the latest plugins and the theme from the wplms package from themeforest account.
