Push Notifications Plugin throwing errors

really annoying applied fix Got the following error message staging/wordpress/firebase-messaging-sw.js): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /var/www/staging/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wplms-push-notifications/includes/class.init.php on line 592 Warning: fwrite() expects parameter 1 to be resource, bool given in /var/www/staging/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wplms-push-notifications/includes/class.init.php on line 594 Warning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, bool given in /var/www/staging/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wplms-push-notifications/includes/class.init.php on line 595 Ok the permission message does not make sense. We have checked that folder and it has full permmissions for the plugin. Cannot be opened up any futher. Its been double checked by me and the developer. What now.

Permission denied in /var/www/staging/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wplms-push-notifications/includes/class.init.php on line 592 Well the error is pretty much clear , server denying permission to write/create any file there in the root . Can you please share me the cpanel details to check ?
