Try setting a background image to the PWA page via custom CSS.

Well the conflict is with the Autoptimize minification of scripts.
Please exclude the vibebp plugin scripts to minification in order to resolve this one .

Service worker scripts are cached in the browser. Whenever you deactivate any plugins like auto-optimise, you have to change the service worker verison in regenerate it in WP Admin - Vibebp - settings - service worker.
