redirect after registration

I want users to redirect after registration. I followed the advice here, but it didn't work. See this screenshot.

Hi, You can redirect user to a particular page after activation using this setting. Setting : http://prntscr.com/jodu1z Go to wp-admin>wplms>buddypress>Redirect page on user activation. Try this setting.

That I believe. But I can't seem to turn off the verification mail. Even when I tick the box, it still asks to check mail to activate account.. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Ray, This is not what I mean/want.. I used to have a full register page (already customized). I also have a checkout page where my product is already selected and I only have to pay. With your tip (enabling Ajax login/registration) I get a registration popup that doesn't look clean or clear. And when activated I get a weird styled 'congratulations' and a slow redirect. (screenshot) I would like the register page, like this (screenshot). And that it would redirect to the checkoutpage; http://metmeestergijs.nl/checkout/ (screenshot)
