December 1, 2015 at 12:12 am #11524sirindesignsSpectatorHello! 1) I use WP multisite and have 2 websites under it. The secondary site is using WPLMS theme (called KWIK). The issue is, when one clicks on Login form and wants to reset the password (the icon "Forgot password"), he is being redirected to the main site "reset password page", even that the KWIK has its own "reset-password" page. After new password activation, the user is kept on a first site and not being redirected back to KWIK. If we use normal Register / Login options, the user remains on KWIK site, so this issue is only comes out with "forgot password" link. Can you help please? Tried different ways but nothing helped. P.S. I'm using Custom Forgot Password plugin and ThemeMyLogin plugin to get rid of standard WP login form. But there is no controls for "forgot password" link :( 2) How do I change color of the buttons on login form? Thanks a lot! 1st question is the priority.December 1, 2015 at 12:18 am #11528sirindesignsSpectatorIf you require admin access, http://rlt.com.sg/cpanel/ Login: rltcomsg Password: 2fT3en99WdDecember 1, 2015 at 7:40 am #11563Anshuman SahuKeymasterThis maybe issue with the lost password link .We need to check this .marking as an issue and if we replicate this it will be fixed in the next update . We are using the " wp_lostpassword_url " function which is wordpress core function . Please note here that if user resets password on the main site this would work for him because the users are same in the multisite .December 1, 2015 at 8:29 am #11575sirindesignsSpectatorYes, I know that it will work from the main site, but we need it exactly for KWIK mainly. Perhaps you can point the location of the code for " wp_lostpassword_url " function, and I can replace it with the custom link to "reset-password" page of the site. Would be great to include this as editable option in WPLMS dashboard, in the next update. Thanks!December 2, 2015 at 10:02 am #11798Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell it is wordpress default function .Please contact wordpress forums or support to modify this . OR if you want to modify the theme then ypu will find the login widget in wp-content/themes/wplms/includes/widgets/custom-bp-widgets.php file . Search for word " forgot " .December 17, 2015 at 4:28 pm #14426sirindesignsSpectatorThanks, I tried to redirect "wp_lostpassword_url" function but apparently have not enough knowledge for that ) Any updates on this issue below? So this the issue with that function . please check : https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/21352 You have to edit the file that i mentioned to fix this directly . in wp-content/themes/wplms/includes/widgets/custom-bp-widgets.php file .
Search for word " forgot "December 18, 2015 at 11:34 am #14538sirindesignsSpectatorI managed to fix this with the help of "un-multisite" plugin. Thank you.December 19, 2015 at 10:19 am #14686Anshuman SahuKeymasterThanks for sharing the solution here .December 19, 2015 at 3:46 pm #14731sirindesignsSpectatorFor someone who can be interested also, here is the link for a plugin: https://gist.github.com/eteubert/293e07a49f56f300ddbb. Plugin Name: Multisite: Passwort Reset on Local Blog. I also had to use Custom Forgot Password plugin to setup the correct "resetpass" link. -
