Hi, our instructor led classes are run in batches. Eg: Batch 1 ran from July to September. Batch 2 starts in October. Now we don't want to create new course for Batch 2 as that will lead to loss of all data such as number of students, reviews etc. But at the same time, we do need to replace the previous content. What should we do instead?

You have to add the new units in the existing course curriculum .If you want to replace then you can remove the old units from course and add the new units . But if you want to retain the old units in course then you just add the new units to the course . This is the only options available as of now in wplms .

How do I prevent students enrolled from previous batches to watch the content from new batches? For eg: The Course Validity is 60 Days. Let's say 15th day after the course is concluded, a New batch starts. So on 75th day a new batch starts on the same line. Now if someone enrolled in the batch 1 on 30th day, then their course validity or Subscription will extend until 30+60 = 90th Day. If I created new units for the new batch in the course for old batch, then these students would also be able to access the content from new batch. Is there any way of avoiding that other than creating a separate course?

You can enable the unit lock-> Force prev Unit/Quiz Complete from wplms course manager . SO in this way the new students cannot traverse without completing the previous units  . This is the only option available in wplms in wplms as of now . Please note that we are developing batches addon for wplms in version 2.0 . The functionality you are want can be served by our upcoming batches addon .
