April 22, 2021 at 9:23 pm #354039UsapukaSpectatorHello, I want to copy some courses from my test site to the production site with https://prnt.sc/11w2vga. The XML file is generated and downloaded perfectly. But when I import it to the new site nothing happens, what can I be doing wrong? Thanks, regardsApril 24, 2021 at 7:56 am #354299DianaParticipantPlease refer the screenshot for the settings : http://prntscr.com/9hkpgh in the Lms -> settings -> import/export . this will export you 10 courses . you can choose the start point and end point settings . First export 10 courses then the start and end points settings will be 0 and 10 resp. It will export first 10 courses . then for next 10 courses export you can change the start and end settings to be 10 and 20 resp. And read this as well: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/bulk-importexport-wplms-via-csv/April 24, 2021 at 7:35 pm #354408UsapukaSpectatorHi Diana, I did exactly as indicated but when importing the cvs in the new site, nothing happens. I imported the sample cvs (Full_course.cvs) and I was able to do the course import. Comparing the files I see that the contents are similar, except that the Spanish special characters do not look right: "finalización" or "estática", can this be a problem? This is the generated file: http://acaneb.org/acaneb/export_course_341.csv Regards,April 25, 2021 at 6:34 pm #354451UsapukaSpectatorI have replaced all the Spanish characters with problem by their English equivalent (á x a, ñ x n, etc.) and the course importation does not work either. Here is the new cvs: https://www.acaneb.org/acaneb/curso.csv The strange thing is that a message appears saying that the import was completed: https://prnt.sc/121tcbo What is wrong with the file? As the course author appears "student" https://prnt.sc/123get5 how can I change it to my name? Thanks, regards.April 27, 2021 at 4:49 am #354644DianaParticipantI have to upload photos, video, scorm units, etc. that are hosted on my test site. --> You can take your webhost help in this Course Author Create a admin/instructor account and edit the course in the backend, at the end you will find option to set author, set the course author there and then update the courseApril 27, 2021 at 11:46 am #354710UsapukaSpectatorHi Diana, Uploads: please could you be so kind as to expand your sugestion on how the web host could help me.
