Student to instructor

how to make sure that a student can register as an instructor? The idea would be to display a button in the student's dashboard "become an instructor" and give the possibility to insert additional fields to fill in (without asking again for the user and password) ...

hi well this is not possible that with the same user id/email a user can become an instructor however you can use custom registration form and use the different user email to register them as instructor by setting default role for the registration form
