    After writing 3.6 wplms, the existing wplms folder was changed to wplms_backup with FTP, and 4.06 was installed. Then I installed the 4.06 plug-in and the site went down. Do you think this is how we should handle it?

    I cannot tell you what could be the issue behind this, without checking error log One reason could be, the plugins that are not compatible with version 4+ are activated on your site. That could be one of the reason that your site went down
