Time Spent

For some reason, for some users, the time they spend in the course is calculated in weeks or days when in reality they have only been minutes reviewing the classes. Yes, I use the WPLMS plugin time spent. Could the alteration be related to any modification made by Diana in the duration of the certificates? I leave the link of that post to which I refer: https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/course-duration-show-certificate/

Yes that maybe the cause of it. Asking Diana for the code change now .

Thanks Alex So I hope that Diana undos the change in the post related to certificates (that's how it worked for certificates) so it's not important to keep that change that Diana made.

Example Course: https://tuaptitud.com/course/curso-de-preparacion-para-el-examen-pmp-online-vivo/admin/ Student: Patricia Mendoza (see this case) She was in this course 3 weeks ago, however now it appears that she has spent 3 years taking the course. What I have noticed is that at the beginning everything is fine, until you have a few hours accumulated, then they become days, then weeks and then years, but in reality the student has only taken a few hours of classes. It is simply out of control.

Well i checked this out and found that user time was actually recorded wrong for some units with id : unit id -- seconds

The issue is with the recording of time spent somehow not with the display of it . Unfortunately there is no way currently to calculate the user's actually time spent .We can only reset her time to 0 .

Wow Alex, what a shame.   I don't know if reinstalling it will solve the problem, it is a good function that can be used.

This is the very first time someone ever reported such issue to us . We are really confused how that can be happen. There is no other place where this duration is store except this one therefore this is no backup to get the actual time spent by the user .

Hi please provide us some time to replicate the issue as its hard to replicate it. Please do ping back for a reminder .We are checking ho can it happen? Are you using multisite ? is there any database crash error appeared in past few days ?
