Unable to add single image in Visual Composer

I am unable to add an image to the Single Image element in Visual Composer. When I hover over the "Add image" in the Single Image element, the green options box appears, blocking the link to "Add image". If I click on the Pencil (edit) option in the green box, a new dialog edit box appears, but provides no options at all for adding content. See attached image for explanation. Thanks for your help in resolving this. :)

I may have found the reason and the answer: do the boxes need to be checked in admin>Visual Composer>General Settings>then select the boxes under Administrator, Editor, General Admin? See attached image.

Yep, that was the solution. :) Now...how do I save a custom template in Visual Composer? Thanks :)
