Unit Comments

Hello vibethemes team, I updated to 4.09 version from 3.9. In 3.9 version, when a student wrote a comment on a unit, the teacher got a notification and an e-mail with the comment and a link to the unit. Then the instructor was able to reply the comment in the unit link. Now, in the new version, the student has two possibilites:

• Post a comment: The teacher also receives the notification and the e-mail with the direct link to the unit. But for some reason, in that link you cannot see the video of the unit and you cannot write comments or reply (For example: https://planetacg.com/unidad/1-2-instalacion/?id=6518)

• You also have the possibility to ask a question: I like this system better because there is a menu where the instructor can go to the pending questions and mark them as answered when they are respond. But I just realize the problem that all teachers get all the questions regardless of the course or unit in which it was done. That is, all the teachers get the questions of all the courses.

Please I need a simple system where the student can ask questions to the instructor in units and the Instructor can reply easily. twitter takipçi satın al

Yes, I know. The students leaves comments where you are saying, but... How can Instructor reply? I find a way, but is very tedious for the instructor: - The instructors have to be their own students to access their own units. Then the instructor has to start/continue course, then find the unit and navigate to it and then reply. As you see they have to do too much clicks and its very unintuitive. In version 3, they simply receive a link to the unit to reply.

Nice! It will be great! I have noticed that all teachers receive all questions regardless of whether the unit is theirs. Is there a way that the teachers only receive questions of their units?

Well as a course instructor we send notifications to all instructors of the course.

I mean, If the teacher goes to Question Answers section they find ALL the questions and answers regardless if these questions are from their courses. It would be more logical for instructors to only be shown the questions and answers of their courses. Example: Teacher A teachs Course A Teacher B teachs Course B. If a student left a question in Course A, the teacher A has the question in Question Answer section. But also the teacher B! Only Instructor A should see the question... Definitely: I only ask for a system where the student leaves a comment/question and the instructor receive a notification/e-mail to reply it.

Hi Diana & Veronica, With the last update, the Question/Answers section now works correctly showing only the Q&A of the teachers courses. Nice. The problem is when a student public a comment (not a question) in the unit. Where can the teachers answer quickly? Where can the teachers see the comments? In the update log you say: "QnA panel also contains unanswered comments for Instructors in Manage courses" but it doesn't show the comments.
