Hi! I got used to getting the zip files for Plugins as downloads and installing them manually (multisite, so the tutorial for updating core plugins does not work). But How can I update the theme?
It is supposed to work here,

but after pushing the button no update comes. It loads the envato page, but than fails to update. It stays 4.097.
What shall I do?

Well the theme update should work fine as it should . sometimes it shows download failed when our server is having much traffic .

okay, but it should is not an answer. ;-) It does not update, even if I try on a daily base.
For the manual update: are you sure that does not interfere with my translations?
No the translations wont be affected if you chose global path which /wp-content/languages/plugins path for your translation files which we recommend here : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/translate-using-loco-translate-plugin/#translatetwo

I really would apreciate if the auto update would work somehow.

Luckily I kept the old theme as a folder so I changed back and things are working again. But the new download ruins not only login but the complete site.
Meanwhile I downloaded the update again and put the content file for file step by step on the server.
That worked.
What will you do to get the auto update working?

auto update is working on our local and our other users as well
it is something that not related to us
and for the

means PHP trying to make changes/write
but unable to do the same
