update to 4.0

Good Morning, We have two training sites under the same domain, one for Spanish and one for English, to test version 4.0 we have filled in the English version and when putting the topic it gives an error that the WPLMS folder already exists and cannot be installed. As it is a copy, I have deleted the old theme and put the new theme 4.0, it has left me without problems. How should I do to update and not lose content? Can I make a new site and import all courses, students, comments, notes ...? Thank you, Greetings.
