Like the GTMetrix suggests you need to add a cache expires header which would force the browsers to cache images loaded in your site and would improve the overall experience in your site. If you notice the tutorial on W3TC, it has this feature which can add expires header in the .htaccess forcing the browser to cache various resources. The scaling of images can be controlled if you set a maximum limit of the browser width or simply do not use the fullwidth image screen backgrounds in your site. Let me know if above do not help. Reference for adding expires headers : https://gtmetrix.com/add-expires-headers.html https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/how-to-add-far-future-expires-headers-to-your-wordpress-site-1533 http://vibethemes.com/getting-best-performance-out-of-vcandy/September 1, 2016 at 11:33 am #68225hemant_832003ParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.September 7, 2016 at 5:30 am #69306hemant_832003ParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.September 7, 2016 at 2:31 pm #69455H.K. I need to change any other settings also ?September 13, 2016 at 11:48 am #70340H.K. LatiyanParticipantYes you can but make sure the page cache should be disabled for logged in users. In some websites the js minification creates some issues on the profile page (uploading profile page), so if it works fine for you then you can minify js otherwise do not do js minification.September 14, 2016 at 7:50 am #70433hemant_832003ParticipantI takes long time than Shared cache. and Request is also double when I check website speed on GTmetrix.com.September 14, 2016 at 1:43 pm #70509H.K. LatiyanParticipantThere is no fixed rule when it comes to speeding up the websites. So, you will need to set the rules by trial and error. There are various factors which determine the site speed which include the number of logged in users, processes running in your server, object caching enabled in your server etc. standard page caching fails in Buddypress enabled sites and relying on plugins for caching is even bigger mistake. Since wplms is a BuddyPress theme you can search buddypress forums on how to improve website speed. A good suggestion would be to use a premium cdn service to reduce the load from your servers and use the parallel downloading of resources from the cdn in modern browsers.October 24, 2018 at 6:51 am #181284CreaativemindsParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.October 25, 2018 at 2:11 pm #181652Anshuman SahuKeymasterOkay please make sure that envato market plugin is deactivated in your setup . if not then please deactivate it .It is having some issues with current version of wordpress . refer this tip to deactivate it : https://www.ostraining.com/blog/wordpress/disable-a-wordpress-plugin/ Second step is to install this plugin "query monitor" refer this tip to know which plugin is actually putting load on your server : https://kinsta.com/blog/query-monitor/ Using caching techniques like memcached, opcache on server side might improve some speed . Also try switching to php version 7.0 (not 7.1 ,its unstable and is not compatible with theme ) . Also follow this caching tip : https://vibethemes.com/documentation/wplms/knowledge-base/wplms-with-w3-total-cache/ Deactivate plugins that you dont feel necessary Please also try disabling touch points if you have enabled them from wp-admin -> lms -> setitngs -> touch points .
