When course has more than one batch, student can only enroll onto first of them

Hi colleagues, I noticed a strange issue today after updating to WPLMS 2.1.0 (and all the latest plugins, including latest BuddyPress 2.6.0). I have a course with 2 batches set up. Here's the link: http://inflexio.ru/course/dipnrf-ochnyj-kurs. Whenever I'm enrolling in the FIRST batch in the list, I'm enrolled. Whenever I'm trying to enroll onto the second, it says "Security check failed, contact the administrator" - or something of that kind in Russian. I have tested it with another course with 3 batches - same issue, enrollment works only for the first one. Where I have a course with 1 batch only, things work as expected. All batches are set up with absolutely the same parameters. I even changed the date (while testing) so that dates coincide - does not matter. I believe it started happening immediately after the theme/plugins update. Can you please look into this, I'm sharing access credentials in the next post. Kind regards, Kirill

Yes this is a bug in wplms batches addon plugin itself, the theme or plugin update has nothing to do with it. I replicated the issue on my test setup, thanks for reporting this issue to us. Thank you for accepting this into work. When you say "this week" - is it effectively Friday? Here is another potential batch bug for you to consider. I struggle with course seats and batch seats. Batch seats are supposed to override the max course seats. But they don't always do. I have a course with 18 seats (defined in the course setting), with 2 batches connected to it. One batch has 18 seats (all free), and another has 0 seats out of 18 (i.e. 18 users enrolled). So there are no seats in one batch, but plenty in the other. Now: (1) If you create an account by REGISTERING at the site first (not via WooCommerce checkout) and then try purchasing the course, it says: no seats left. You may try it here: http://inflexio.ru/course/dipnrf-ochnyj-kurs with an already created user login: aaatest1 and pass: 1111 Or create your own user. (2) If you purchase the course via WooCommerce, it (correctly?) auto-allocates the user to the free group. I assume, it does so because the free group is first one. If it were the second - the issue above would repeat (security issue etc). The issue was checked on two courses - same result. Please use the same credentials as in the post above. 1) Here your assumption is wrong, we never override the course seats with the batch seats. If the course seats are limited to say 5 and batch seats are limited to say 10, then only 5 students can click on take this course button and get enrolled in the batch. But now if the course seats are full means the total 5 students have taken the course then the new users cannot take the course. However still there are 5 seats left in the batch therefore group/batch instructor or the admin can directly add 5 more students to the group and they will be automatically added to the course. What you are saying is logically correct that the batch seats should override the course seats, but programatically it is very complex and it is not possible to do so. 2) This is also not true, I guess you have created the product from backend and the product limit is different from the course limit that's why you are able to take the course when registering from the checkout page. Please make sure the course and product limit should be the same, or create the course and product from the front end, it automatically takes care of the limit and provides the same limit as that of course to the product.

Well we just released a bug fix update of wplms batches .Now we are working on mailchip email lists plugin and then a pending Buddypress emails issue is already lined up. So we will be working on this batches feature after that .
