wplms-customizer.php with child theme

Hi,  I am using a child theme, is there any way to protect wplms-customizer.php edits from plugin updates as well? I notice there is a similar question here: https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/wplms-customizer-plugin-update-to-1-9-9/ ... but I am specifically asking about edits I was instructed to make here in another support request to the <strong style="line-height: 21.8182px;">wplms-customizer.php file itself.

As mentioned by admin in the topic (the link you shared), the wplms customizer plugin is never updated. So if you do any customizations in wplms customizer plugin or child theme, it is always safe even after default theme update and all other plugins update.
