    There seem to be a number of other topics on this here, here, and here, but having been through them none of the answers seem to be satisfactory. I too, having read the marketing descriptions for the Batches addon was given the impression that customised corporate training was possible. But I can't see how. Here's what I need:
    1. The site can publically display all courses which are available to all users.
    2. Using Batches, I would like to create a private corporate space in which I can create courses for only that company.
    3. The courses created under a Batch should not be visible in the public course directory. I don't want to use the 'Hide Course from Directory' because this is a manual process where mistakes could be made. A course made under a Batch should only ever exclusively be visible by those Batch users.
    4. But the users under a Batch would still have visibility of all other public courses which are not in the Batch.
    5. The Mod of a Batch could review the progress of the Batch users for all courses. By all courses, I refer to course exclusive to the Batch, and the public courses not in the Batch.
    I hope you can understand what I require. A way for an exclusive customised course for a Batch should only ever be seen and accessed by the Batch users. The way that Batches are described it doesn't feel as though WPLMS understands exactly what is meant by Corporate Training and the requirements for this. It comes so, so close, but I am either missing something, or it can't do this. Can you please advise if what I require is possible using WPLMS + Batches?

    WPLMS Batches is an incredibly powerful plugin and can be used for multiple purpose. One is Corporate training. Since, we extend BuddyPress groups, each Batch can have administrators and moderators. A batch maintains its own set of statistics and reports available for Admin or mods based on your setting. Response to your pointers :
    1. Yes it is available.
    2. Batches provide a private space for corporates, by default courses are not connected to batches, you can connect one course to multiple batch and one batch to multiple courses. If you want to create a course for Batch only. Then you can create courses and do not  connect any pricing method to it, which will make the course appear as private, but if the batch is connected to the course then all batch members can access the course. This makes the course exclusive to the Batch.
    3,4. Ok, the concept Course under a batch is not as you're imagining. But if you want to create courses exclusive to batch then using the "Hide course" is the best possible way available right now. There is a switch in WP Admin - LMS - Settings : Course Batch exclusivity, which means once a user is enrolled in a batch, then he can only see Batch courses in the entire site. So a company executive only sees batch courses in entire site, including the course directory. But i guess you do not want this restriction.
    1. Yes, batch mod can see Statistics and progress of students in the batch.

    OK, thanks. I think the wording in the knowledge-base articles for Batches is confusing and needs clarification. When you say "view", you mean not allow the student to view the course. When I say "view", I mean not even allow the student to view it in the directory. While Batches allows for "corporate" training, it is of the assumption that it is drawing from the general pool of courses, so allowing all students to view all courses doesn't matter. But customised corporate training means a customised course should not even be visible in the directory. We don't want one company to know what courses are available to another company. This needs to be clearly separated. I will literally end up with 1000's of courses which would need manual hiding using the "Hide Course..." feature, which is just not practical. This, unfortunately, means that WPLMS + Batches is not going to work for us. If you could build in this functionality then we could use it. Just out of curiosity, a mod of a Batch can view the statistics for the batch courses. But, can the mod also view the statistics of all site-wide courses for just the students within that batch. Let me put it another way. A student enrols in side-wide courses, and courses in the batch. Can the batch Mod for that student then review stats for all that student's courses (site-wide + batch)? This would provide a complete statistical overview for the student.

    Well there are some settings provided in batch that can enforce the privacy you want : http://prntscr.com/k1n1f1    a setting called " Students in Batch can only view courses connected to this batch " is provided for batch exclusivity, in begining student will see all courses but when user will enroll in a course connected to batch or that batch itself which has this setting turned on she wont see any other course .
