June 19, 2020 at 8:08 am #269339barrutia_914ParticipantHello, thanks for your support. I have two issues with the tabs in the course manu: 1)According to the link in your Knowledge Base about "How to add new tabs in the course menu" (https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/wplms-course-custom-nav-plugin/ ) ...I'm trying to add new course tabs using the "Custom Course Sections" (in Course Navigation). I've already installed and activated the "WPLMS Course Custom Nav Plugin" and I have gone to LMS-->Course Navigation. BUT, when I click on "Add Custom Section" nothing happens. No form appears at all. And below that button on Course Custom Sections there are a strange code I don't what it is. https://prnt.sc/t2kdse 2) How can I hide for students, the Member, Activities and Events tabs on that same Course Menu? https://prnt.sc/t2keg5 I'm giving links with images for better explanation. Thanks in advance for your help. Alexander.June 19, 2020 at 8:13 am #269341barrutia_914ParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.June 20, 2020 at 6:26 am #269529barrutia_914ParticipantHello? Refer: https://prnt.sc/t376h0 If you wan to hide for all then i will share custom code for this, To add new tab there is one option in wplms follow this carefully: Please have a look here: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/wplms-course-custom-nav-plugin/ this will allow you to add new tabs in the course menu. Thanks,June 20, 2020 at 11:03 pm #269653barrutia_914ParticipantHello, Thanks for your reply, I finally could hide the tabs. I finally could add Course Custom Sections. I made it very carefully, step but step, deactivated all third party plugins and re-saved permalinks after each section I saved by clicking on save section button. Refer: https://prnt.sc/t4r2un https://prnt.sc/t4r3cq https://prnt.sc/t4r3n9 But unfortunately, despise the fact that I have created some Course Custom Sections on the backend, I can't see any new tab on the Course Menu on the frontend. Refer: https://prnt.sc/t4r56j All new tabs have been set to All Courses and to be seen by Everyone. But I can't see any new tab. I shared my Wordpress credentials on my first private post (above) if you need to check it. Thanks in advance for your help. I'd really appreciate a quick response.June 25, 2020 at 7:49 am #270546JacksonBlockedHEllo, Sorry for late response , I have check everything but nothing found behind this, Please try to add using code, Follow this tip: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/adding-custom-section-in-course-menu/ Thanks,June 25, 2020 at 3:10 pm #270658MrVibeKeymasterchecking site.June 25, 2020 at 3:21 pm #270660MrVibeKeymasterIS there any server caching enabled in your site ? By default empty sections would not appear in the Course menu. but when I add content in the edit course that content is not available. https://prnt.sc/t6deuzJune 26, 2020 at 3:32 am #270736barrutia_914ParticipantHello, thanks for your reply. -Regarding to Jackson's reply, I did it in that way but it appears a message error on the website. It must be because I have the latest version of the theme. The is a note that says: "NOTE: This tip works only for less than wplms 2.0 versions only." I have 3.9.9 version. Refer: https://prnt.sc/t6nwon -Mr.Vibe I had Litespeed plugin enabled but I've already disabled it. All third party plugin has been also disabled. I reinstalled Wordpress once again checked all the site as well. Everything is just ok. I deleted again the Custom Course Sections, and created a new ones (Test and Test2). I re-saved permalinks after each section I saved by clicking on save section button. But no new tab is shown on the Course Menu. Refer: https://prnt.sc/t6o706 This is very frustrating. I have a broad experience installing and configuring Wordpress themes but nothing like this happened before. I chose to renew the license of your theme because your documentation said in Knowledge Base that I could create new tabs. But since it's impossible I have to ask for refund.June 26, 2020 at 2:12 pm #270905MrVibeKeymasterThis has not happened on any sites so far, many users are using this plugin. I will check your site agian for this.June 26, 2020 at 3:36 pm #270922MrVibeKeymasterNow working. https://prnt.sc/t712ku This was a strange issue, I had to add a small hack to make it work in your site. The hack was to change the filter in Custom Course Nav and vibe course module plugin . from wplms_course_nav to wplms_course_nav_custom something was overriding this hook and removing the changes which the custom course nav plugin was doing. The issue only existed in links not being displayed the permalinks and sections were registering correctly.June 26, 2020 at 10:53 pm #270961barrutia_914ParticipantThanks a lot Mr.Vibe, you made my day! Nevertheless the tabs of Contenidos (/curricula), Miembros (/miembros) and Actividad (/actividad), that were hidden, now can't be hidden. I've already had changed the settings going to LMS>>Settings>>Course Menu, and selected the privacy only for Administrators. But it's still showing. Refer: https://prnt.sc/t77urt Is there a way to reinstall the whole theme without losing the customization I've made? I'm afraid something like this would happen again but with another issue. Thank you very much for your help.
