Alex, thank you for the response.. but the problem i have is, when using the front end new course creation / editing.. i don't get the + signs you get in the videos..
for example here in your video, when you select a new unit, it shows a text box to add the new one, with a little green arrow. i dont' get that.. same for new quiz

Hi,
Same with my site. The quiz and units "Add new" text area are not showing up. In the installed plugins it says that the version of the Front end plugin is 1.9.9.7 but it looks like the old one, not the updated version in your previous videos. Tried to deactivate/activate the Front end - nothing changed.
Another question: WPVisual Composer update forwards to buy plugin page from CodeCanyon. Should I be purchasing it? I thought it comes as bundle.

Hi @marinazel and @dmsdigital, please note that the add new tags in unit and in questions are not working this is a known issue in wplms front end edit as of now .
Please also note that the old front end edit is not maintained in wplms and we are removing it completely in next version of wplms .
@marinael please create new topic in the relevant forum for new issues .

The front end plugin on my site appears to be of the old configuration, but in the plugins list it appears as 1.9.9.7.
Where can the new version be downloaded? The goo.go address you refer to is not working.

You can easily create quizzes from the front end as well .
Please create the questions first from wp-admin -> lms -> all questions -> add new .

The same settings options are available in the back end for the questions and then you can create the quiz and add those questions in it .

It neither adds new quizzes in the back-end nor in the front - pls see images attached.
I just need to say that we MUST have the front end editing available as our teachers must have the only option of editing from the front end with no access to the back end.
I've tried to re-save permalinks. No results.

On another note, i'm very disappointed with the level of support received as a paying customer. All other sellers have a dedicated support ticket system which are responded to promptly.. However here i'm having to wait days for a response that doesn't quite really help.

On other posting on the same issue they recommend to reinstall the whole WPLMS pack deleting files manually from cPanel or FTP and installing the theme and plugins from scratch.

Not clear if the custom modifications like translations and custom styles will be preserved.
It's kind of disappointing that the system failed suddenly and the new updates are not upgraded automatically. The whole new reinstall will take hours to set and complete, not sure it'll work after all.

I see the screenshots that
you are using the old front end edit which is no longer maintained by us .
Use the new front end edit and check the issues .

Finally found the issue - for a new course to use new Front-end a new page should be created with the [edit_course] shortcode + Default template.
It did work for new courses, but for the old courses - the same old Front-end shows up.
Could you pls create clear instructions what to do in this case?
Should the Create course template be changed in the WPLMS options as well?
It's not very clear and seems most of people complaining miss this point.

We are not able to replicate this kind of issue .
The new front end edit shows up for all courses whether it is old or new .
It maybe possible that the edit pages for the courses may have cached in your browser ro from server .
Please check after clearing the browser cache or if you are using any caching plugin then please try deactivating it .
