1 . which setting you set to auto complete orders in " Autocomplete WooCommerce Orders " settings ? is it set to virtual ? if yes the please set it to paid .
2 . are you using any offline payment gateway like BACS , or cheque payments or cash on delivery ?
3 . what happens when payment is cancelled or failed in your payment gateway ?
Does user returns back to thank you page of woocommerce ?
