Well the main reason of the slowness is revolution slider on the top .
Sliders has become outdated since the speed is everything and sole factor nowadays .
You can put banner with text instead of it.
Also I could not find any requests from hello-world , is it a particular page where this appears ?

Thanks, I later use image slider instead of revolution and I have seen a tremendous increase from over 14s to 7s...
