Organize users by University degree

Hello I am creating a Learning System for a university and I need to know two things:

1. Is it possible to group subjects by semester and by university degree? If possible, how would it be done?

For example, add the subject of Programming I to the second semester of Systems Engineering.

1. Once this organization is made, how can I do so that a student can only see the subjects corresponding to his University degree and to his specific semester, and not have the possibility to see the others?
