August 20, 2020 at 11:58 pm #296847Trott Bailey UniversitySpectatorHello WPLMS Team, We are not able to load social logins on the popup widget. We have done all the settings according to the BP Social Login Tutorial provided. https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cYj21qGgTH The social icons loads on university.kimroybailey.com/wp-login but when we login using Google the site crashes with a critical error Thanks, KimroyAugust 21, 2020 at 6:07 am #296934DianaParticipantIf you are using version 4+ then there is no need to use BP social Login because it was for the versions below 4 Now we have this: http://prntscr.com/u39v3u check this FAQ's Question number 5 for integration: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/wplms-4-0-faqs/August 21, 2020 at 1:10 pm #297078Trott Bailey UniversitySpectatorHello Diana We have carefully followed the instructions provided. The buttons for Google and Facebook loads but when the user clicks the button nothing happens. Additionally when we save the Firebase config the code " {...} " it changes to " N;" once we click save and the page refreshes Could you kindly take a look at this issue on our backend at https://university.kimroybailey.com/ Thank you, KimroyAugust 21, 2020 at 1:49 pm #297087Scott LangModeratorPlease make sure you are copied firebase variable like this timeframe:firebase variable copy We are also getting an issue at your site with our firebase variable, Please deactivate third party plugin after adding a firebase variable. Getting no error on console but popup just removed after social login button click.August 21, 2020 at 9:39 pm #297164Trott Bailey UniversitySpectatorHello Scott, Thank you for sharing the video I was previously copying {...}; the semi-colon was causing the error. Now when I save the settings in VibeBP the firebase settings are stored. Now when I try to login using Google or Facebook a popup opens and then closes about 1 second after. Which third party plugin are you referring to that we should deactivate? Regards, KimroyAugust 22, 2020 at 10:42 am #297322VeronicaModeratorhi, please try to deactivate all the third-party plugins one by one which are not related to the wplms theme and then check it.August 24, 2020 at 5:27 am #297597DawgyalParticipantHello veronica i am having the same problem when i click into the icons it automatically close after 1 second as you have mentioned above to deactivate the plugins but still not working.August 24, 2020 at 12:23 pm #297762VeronicaModeratorhi @Dawgyal are the users already logged in or authenticated? because if you are logged in, the popup opens, google confirms you are logged in and then logs you in the site and closes are they not getting logged into the site? thanks.August 25, 2020 at 1:42 am #297883DawgyalParticipantHello @Veronica Thanks for the reply hopefully now its working.August 25, 2020 at 6:52 am #297952DianaParticipant@kimroyb Please update us the issue resolved for you or not and @dawgyal, please create your own topic for your own issuesSeptember 1, 2020 at 11:37 am #299867ZatakkSpectatorSorry folks for crashlanding, but my social login - using only for gmail is also not logging in. Can someone confirm if this is solved. ? And if so how ? I have a fresh installation with no other plugin - raw WPLMS 4 in which now I am testing all the features.September 1, 2020 at 5:52 pm #299976DianaParticipant@zatakk, If you want I can check it for you on your site. So I can confirm the technical team that tested on a live site if found it as a bug. Do create your own topic and I will check on thatSeptember 5, 2020 at 1:24 am #300919Trott Bailey UniversitySpectatorThis issue has been resolved. In the video, and the instruction above it says that I should copy from {…} for the Firebase config but it should actually be copied from {…}; without the semicolon it wasn't working but everything is OK now where that is concerned. You may close this topic.September 5, 2020 at 4:01 am #300942VeronicaModeratorok thanks to informing us here closing this one
