    Good day!   When our Learners clicked on the Submit Quiz, there was a round object that kept rolling for hours not indicating whether the question had been saved or not. Could you please help as we have a lot of worried Students right now. Sometimes the answers are saved and sometimes they are not. Please help   Charles

    Can you please share your php error log with us (may be upload it somewhere online and share its link ) as if the file is greater than 500Kb will not attach in our forums for security reasons . Please also share your url of your course and admin credentials in a private reply  to check the issue further at your end .

    Can you please share url of the quiz in which you were facing the issues ? Please also update your wplms theme to latest version 2.1.1  and the woocommerce data . To update theme please refer : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/auto-updating-wplms/

My API Key does not appear to have been saved even after clicking 'save changes'. Is this a problem? The only new update alert I saw was for Event Plugin. It didn't show any updates for WPLMS. I have attached some screen shots to  illustrate the above   Thanking you in advance for your support.   Charles

    Okay i was able to replicate the issue now . Please check screenshot in private reply . When i submitted  the quiz your server returned a 500 error . Can you please tell if your site is hosted in wp-engine or not ? The submit quiz event makes a call to insert the answers in database and this query is huge . Some hosts like wp-engine puts restrictions on length of the query and denies to serve long queries . so please contact your webhost to check if they put any kind of restrictions on the length of insert query or not . Please also share your server php error log (upload it somewhere and share its link here) as allowed file size limit on our forums is just 500 Kb due to security reasons .

    My hosting is done by Siteground. I have asked them about the restrictions and they are still looking into this.

    Secondly, do you also know why auto update is not working on my site. As I said, my API Key does not appear to have been saved even after clicking 'save changes'. Is this a problem?     Thanks for sharing your error log . I found the last two errors in your error log related to the php configuration of your server . [05-Jul-2016 12:41:48 UTC] PHP Fatal error:  Out of memory (allocated 193724416) (tried to allocate 82 bytes) in /home/flexlea7/public_html/wp-includes/pomo/mo.php on line 268   [05-Jul-2016 12:41:54 UTC] PHP Fatal error:  Out of memory (allocated 193986560) (tried to allocate 64 bytes) in /home/flexlea7/public_html/wp-includes/pomo/mo.php on line 276 These two errors clearly stating that php memory limit is exhausted while serving a php process . It still needs just around 1 Kb of memory . Please also show  your webhost screenshot when  the quiz is submitted .(shared in private reply above ). that is not heartbeat it is an ajax call that is created by wplms code and it cannot be disabled. My conclusion is when user submits quiz the server's php memory limt gets exhasuted and server returns 500 error . So please contact your webhost to increase your php memory limit upto 256 MB .

    Dear Alex, The php memory limit is  now set to 380M. We tested the system by trying to save a Student's Work but experienced the same problem. You could once again check this out by login in as: U: sara P: Broadway@44 Many thanks   Charles

    Can you please just try updating your wplms theme to the latest version 2.1.1 manually by following this tip : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/manually-updating-wplms/ I also noticed that you have two wplms themes in your themes folder one has version 2.0.8 and other has 2.0.6 . this can also cause conflicts .So please try deleting one wplms theme so that only one theme remains in your themes folder .

    Hi there, I have now updated the theme to the latest version. However, the problem with the saving of Student's Work is still continuing.   I need help   Thank you   Charles
