I was just testing it for an hour on two different domains and everytime its showing: Fatal error: Can't use method return value in write context in ....../themes/wplms/includes/init.php on line 104 is this issue from my websites?

Hi I have dedicated VPS Server Fresh automatic install Wordpress from Plesk WordPress Toolkit Wordpress workfine but if i install theme upload no problem screen "activate theme" i click all white page :( I refresh browser cache impossible white page i rename theme temporary it's ok Wordpress is back but without theme Thank you for your  help

I just remove the empty check on that lines on init.php , but after update the plugins , the site is blank.. it only visible for no logged users.

Thanks I'll paste a fix for this soon. Seems like some function is missing. Meanwhile can you try to activate Buddypress first before activating the theme

Thank you for helping us in improving our/your product. I am really glad that you've chosen WPLMS for your site and are helping us in improving the overall experience of the product.

WPLMS 2.0 is a really big update, and we've been working really hard on this. The update as expected comes with a lot of new features. Features which were missing from WPLMS. Features which were requested by you.

WPLMS 2.0 development is complete, however it is still in beta version.

Some of the bugs reported are still not resolved and are we're working it. (refer : https://trello.com/b/myOe4n5m/wplms-bugs-and-issues ).

Note : Please do not use this theme on your production site. If you have a localhost installation or test setup then you can test the theme on it.

Whats New in 2.0 ?

New Features : (Please go through the following pointers)

a. WPLMS Skins, 3 Skins : Default, Minimal and Elegant. Set the skins from WP Admin - Customise - Theme - Theme Skins

b. WPLMS 8 Header Layouts : Set the layouts from WP Admin - Customise - Header - Header Layouts : reference

c. WPLMS Layouts : Set layouts from WP Admin - Customise - Layouts , 5 Directory layouts, 4 Groups layouts, 4 Profile layouts, 5 Course layouts. reference

d. WPLMS 3 Footer layouts, set layouts from WP Admin - Customise - Footer - Footer Layouts

e. BuddyDrive integration. Install BuddyPress and see Course drive in Course menu. Also get upload to drive options in Activity form. Manage buddydrive attachments from Profile - Buddydrive section. reference

f. Course Activity and Filters . All Course activity can be seen in Course - Activity section, and you can see who all users started the course, completed the unit etc.. directly from Course - Activity area.

g. Offline Course Support, mark a course as Offline or online, in course settings both in front end and backend. reference

h. Hide the course "take this course" button after user purchased the course. Switch in course settings.

i. Display full unit content directly in course curriculum to all users. Switch in course settings.

j. Display Course progress on Course home page. Switch in course settings.

k. Automate Course progress based on time, rather than units complete. Switch in course settings.

l. Create Events from Course Front end Creation.

m. Site Lock . Enable Site lock from WP Admin - WPLMS - Misc. Non-logged in users can only view home page. Plus a Login Page Template, connect registration page with a page with login page template. screenshot , screenshot 2

n. Hide Admin bar for instructors/Administrators switch in WP Admin - WPLMS - MISC.

o. Apply for Course functionality. Enable Apply for Course in Course settings (pricing). MAke sure the course is not free and not connected to any product. Now users can apply for course and Instructors can manage applications from Course - Admin - Applications area. reference

p. Brand new BBPress theme.

Updates & Improvements : 

a. Course permalinks (xyz.com/course/abc?action=admin) changed to pretty permalinks (xyz.com/course/abc/admin) . Permalinks can be customised from WP Admin - Permalinks

b. Improvements in Course submissions in Course - Admin - Submissions reference

c. More freedom to instructors, mark unit complete from a student (also bypass the drip feed) from Course - Admin - member stats, reference

d. WooCommerce and Pmpro account in member profile. reference

e. Display unit description (one line description) below unit title from WP Admin - LMS - Settings - unit description switch.

f. Set Course Duration parameter, Quiz Duration parameter, Unit duration parameter, Assignment duration parameter for every Course/quiz/unit/assignment respectively in their settings.

g. Star rating in review course improvements.

h. Minified files and migration to SASS

I. Add user to course from Course -admin improvements

J. Major improvement in WP Admin. No preloaded posts/courses/units/questions, lists loaded on demand. Try adding a new unit in course curriculum from WP Admin panel.

k. Major improvements in how scripts are loaded on the front end.

Important Note : WPLMS 2.0 is a completely new update. So make sure when you update the theme, the plugins should also be updated to 2.0 version.

How to ensure that everything is updated to 2.0 ?

a. For existing site :

Use ftp to update the theme. The plugins are located in wplms/plugins folder. Unzip the attached file and locate the plugins folder in it. Manually update these plugins via FTP.

b. For new site :

Simply upload the new file and use the one click startup.

@David: Thanks, the "notice" can be ignored. To remove the warning, go to WP Admin - settings- permalinks and click on save. Thanks for sharing the results. I've added fixes in the update so that these warnings/notices do not appear in future.
