    In development. Course Batch : a. A Batch is a group of Users (Students/Instructors) connected via common entity. b. A Batch can have its own Instructor which is different from the Course instructor. c. A Batch can have its own Start date and Number of seats limitation which is different than the original course. d. All the Users in the batch get access to courses to which the batch is connected to. e. A Batch has a stats section which displays the stats data of students of the batch. Batch Moderators and Instructors have access to stats section. f. A batch can be connected to multiple courses. g. For each course the batch instructor can modify the course curriculum. h. A Batch can have moderators, Moderators are users who can access Screenshot on popular request.     Note : Since the plugin is still under development, the final output can change significantly in the final release.

    What is the main functionality of this new feature? Something like a group of courses sold together for a single price?

    No, the main purpose of this feature is to be able to support "batches" for courses. For example : You have guitar courses and you instructor guitar twice a day with timings 10-11 a.m and 5-6 p.m, so you can create two batches for your course and users can select which batch they want to join while taking the course.

    OK, something like "time slots" - one and the same course scheduled for different time/date, etc. So, I guess this is applicable only to courses where the instructor interacts with the students in real time - like online chat, live video sessions, webinars, (I guess offline courses as well), etc. This feature is not applicable to courses which content is already on the site - units with text/articles, uploaded video, etc. Students can take them at any time they want or with a dripping content option. Right?

    Hi, I think It 's a great feature, If I can give an access a enterprise members, one member for each company to admin all employees. We must have a new user like a "Employer" with own access and permission. For example, If I sell ten courses to a company, Can I give a Human resources director an User member? : - Each Human resources director can view all  students of the company who is taken the courses. - The Director can Purchase some courses for the employers. - The director can access to a dashboard to see their employers, quizzes, courses finished, advance o f courses, course taken, etc...     @quanto : It applies to online courses as well, especially if you have drip courses where content is released . You can roll courses in batches. @jebnalcazar : Yes, a director can create a batch with limited seats, connect it to a course and users can request batch acces. Anyone who is a member of the batch, gets access to the course. Batch administrator can view stats of students in the batch as well.

    Hi, some more on the table. But the director must be have a one business account, that control 1 course, 2 courses or multiple courses in the same account for all employess. For example, I have an business account, I can put my logo, and I buy 1 course for a sales person, in the same account I buy 20 courses for drivers, in the same account I buy 100 courses for all my employess, The I have a dashboard to see all my employees advance in the differents courses, and have the historic register of that, all statistics It could be great If a businees account can upload his own courses wiht acces only for this employees. An inductcion course of the company, access only for my employees. Can we do all this things with the batches? It could be excellent and brilliant for your theme. Thanks.

    @JebenalCazar: No, this requirement is not covered in batches. A Batch is a BuddyPress group with Batch setting enabled. A batch has administrators, moderators and students. When connected to a course, all the members of the Batch get access to the course. The Batch have its own instructor, calendar, Stats section. In the stats section the batch admin & moderators can view student statistics.   Batch covering multiple courses is out of scope as of now, we may cover it with later updates.

    1. If course batches don't cover this. A director manager for employees. How can I do that? Maybe a new role called Business with riaght permissions? Could you help with this?
    7 months ago I ask this and you get response that course batches cover this, inclusive another people ask you the same thing and you said thta course batches. And Noe 7 months later do you saias that iy is not covered. Thanks for help.

    And just to confirm, total number of students in the course = sum of all students in each batch correct? Couple of questions for curiosity - can each batch be attached to a different product? aka have different pricing for different batches. This will allow to run promotions separately as well. The price at the take this course column can cite Rs (min price) Onwards. For example, I wan't to be able to have two offerings for the course, one for upfront purchase and one for subscription. Currently, I think it can only be one or the other. With the batches feature, I was hoping to have both at the same time. The reviews will be ascribed to course and not batch. Or is it batch specific?

    Hi I ask in themeforest comments about a business account, that director of a business can get an one account for see their employees, buy some course for different employees, see statistics, a dashborad if the employees are taken the course, in this forum you answer me here in batches forum that feature is not covered with batches function.... but in comments you respond: "We have something interesting coming up for this requirement. Please share your thoughts here" and send the link here to forum of features batches.   I ask Is the course batches  cover or not cover this requirement?   If it doesn't. How can I do this?   thanks.

    • Multiple courses per batch feature has been added.
      @jabenalcazar : Yes, this is possible. A Group can have multiple Administrators and Moderators, which can view stats. Company directory can be added as administrator of the group, so she'll have all the powers of group administrator and would be able to view the employee stats as well.

    Thanks,   Do you think that the Administrator or moderator to a group (Human resourse Director - elearning enterprise), can upload a course too?   For example, A business ABC has an induction business course only for new employees and It wants upload this course only for their employees.   Is it possible?   Thanks
