ASSIGNING USERS TO COURSE CATEGORIES

Hello, We must say your LMS is awesome. We are trying to achieve this with your WPLMS: We want a situation where users register (The registration page should include a field where they select course category) Upon login, they are redirected to the courses under the category they have selected when registering or they can view courses in the category of choice in their profile page. How do we go about this, pointing us in the right direction will really help. Thanks

Hi... This is not available in wplms as of now. In wplms batches plugin you can create different batches for students, it has lots of features but this is also not available in it. But its already in the planned feature in batches plugin that the users can choose the batch in which they want to join while registration. However this feature is not implemented yet but will be available in wplms batches plugin's update.

Hi H.K Latiyan, Thanks for your response. Like on the average, how long do we have to wait for this update? Pending when this will be available, is there a way around this?   I saw similar request in this post - https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/how-to-auto-assign-course-batches-based-on-user-role/ I really need a fix, even if it is temporal pending when the main update is out. Well as of now we are already engaged in development of wplms app and api . After that we would come to this feature .
