October 5, 2020 at 2:45 am #315921nexSpectator1.- When a student get into an assignment to read the assignment statement, and to know what assignment the teacher asks for, and when the student obviously leaves, to do the assignment to present it, the assignment is automatically marked as "NOT SUBMITTED" and the student can no longer submit that assignment when he(she) have it ready. VIDEO1: https://vimeo.com/user85867374/review/464853618/b5cba75d52 2.- The same students who submitted their assignments also appear on the list of those who did not submit assignment. VIDEO2: https://vimeo.com/user85867374/review/464854000/323749cb80October 5, 2020 at 1:30 pm #316106VeronicaModeratorhi, i was trying to check the video but it always shows this: http://prntscr.com/uthdxd http://prntscr.com/uthe1xOctober 6, 2020 at 12:13 am #316204nexSpectatorSorry.. 1.- https://vimeo.com/464853618 2.- https://vimeo.com/464854000October 6, 2020 at 10:42 am #316324VeronicaModeratorhi the site URL is different I think from the last provided site URL can you please share the details of the site on which I can test it and also share exact course and assignment URL I will replicate the same as you have mentioned aboveOctober 6, 2020 at 3:09 pm #316426nexSpectatorYou can test it here: https://www.soe.uagrm.edu.bo/course/ourse-test/ And the example course link I gave you is: https://www.soe.uagrm.edu.bo/course/evaluacion-de-la-innovacion-en-la-educacion-superior/ The assignment link: https://www.soe.uagrm.edu.bo/assignment/construccion-de-infografia/October 7, 2020 at 12:45 pm #316633VeronicaModeratorhi, well yes, the student deliberately clicking the start assignment button means he is ready to take it. and not submitted actually means students just started the assignment and never submits it. New once the assignment start the clock began to tick to expire the assignment set the duration of assignment to unlimited in such case by setting 9999 daysOctober 7, 2020 at 2:24 pm #316682nexSpectatorOk, maybe you did not understand the problem well, the problem is: 1.- When the student clicks on "start assignment", it is automatically marked as "In Assessment", even when the submission deadline has not expired. It is necessary for the student to click on "Start assignment" to know what assignment to do, so they should be able to go out, research and do their homework, then after a few days come back and present what they did (if there is time to send the task). The problem here is that when they click on "Start assignment" they read what the assignment is about, they leave to investigate and do the assignment, when they return to present that assignment, they can no longer do it because it was automatically marked as "In Assessment" as if they had already presented it, even though they still have time to present it. And 2.- The same students who submitted their assignments also appear on the list of those who did not submit assignment.October 8, 2020 at 1:39 pm #316962VeronicaModeratorok let me check this as you have performed in the video please clarify the steps the user once leaves the assignment shows in the under evaluation right! please confirmOctober 8, 2020 at 2:05 pm #316969nexSpectatorYes, exactly.. and some students can't send the assignment even if they have time to do that!October 9, 2020 at 10:51 am #317202VeronicaModeratorchecking...October 9, 2020 at 11:20 am #317208VeronicaModeratorhi checked on my local as well as on your site and it is working fine: http://somup.com/cY6Q67lU1u reset the course for the user attempt the course goto the assignment leave the assignment back to course check from admin section no "under evaluation" there again attempt the course and it is working!
