August 9, 2020 at 7:46 pm #281316Trott Bailey UniversitySpectatorNo User Group Page settings option https://prnt.sc/twrb6i Additionally, only when a student logs into Wordpress do they get to access the logged in menu from VibeBP / BuddyPress 4.0 Dashboard. I have enabled Global Login and also Synchronise WP with VibeBP Login If a users visit the site and login (without login to wp-admin) when they attempt to visit the membership directory or the profile page it all redirects to the homepage. Really need some quick help with this.August 10, 2020 at 10:42 am #281522DianaParticipantFrom Settings > Buddypress > You need to enable this: http://prntscr.com/tx2uln Then You will have user groups option http://prntscr.com/tx2v1m Issues 2: redirection Yes becasue in wplms you can see 2 logins: One is default wordpress one and another one is vibebp login http://prntscr.com/tx2w1w We are actually fetching the data once user login using wordpress login and we are syncing the status with vibebp login so it is required user should first do wordpress login and then only he ca access the components shown in profile sectionAugust 10, 2020 at 5:17 pm #281665Trott Bailey UniversitySpectatorThe issue relating to the Group page has been resolved as you instructed. Thank you. Is there a setting option to ensure that once the user clicks login at the top menu and enter his credentials that will take care of all logins? Or can that popup login screen take care of the WordPress login simultaneously? I have selected these options in VibeBP settings but nothing happens https://prnt.sc/txa8r2 Also, I would like the login interface button or gravitar to be apart of the main menu so that it also stick to the top when the user scrolls Thank youAugust 11, 2020 at 6:22 am #281767DianaParticipant@kimroyb If you have everything latest on your site i.e. theme version and plugin version as well Once you log in with WordPress, the vibebp will automatically fetch the status and show the login In case, if it is not working. Please do share a screen recording with me You can simply use screencast o Matic software to show recorded screenAugust 11, 2020 at 7:04 am #281800Trott Bailey UniversitySpectatorHello Diana, I hope you are doing well. Thanks for responding. Here is the screencast: http://somup.com/cYjX1d6yeF Is there an option to load the simple login popup from WPLMS 3.x because the 4.0 version is not login the students into Wordpress. Also from the Screencast you can see the following issues 00:26 - Popup loads behind the main menu so some of the information is blocked 00:27 - When the user clicks the email field and the browser tries to recommend saved email and password, it jumps off screen instantly. I had to long press the left click while sliding up to the recommended email and password. I would like that to be rectified. 00:40 - The login menu loads behind the main menu as well so the user cannot access the menu items. I would like to have the login menu to be apart of the main menu like Demo 8. Infact is it possible to have only the menu bar layout from Demo 8 while keeping everything else in tact? 00:54 - When the user clicks profile from the logined in menu it simply redirects to the homepage and does not take them to the beautiful 4.0 dashboard :) 01:05 - Tried to access the members directory directly from the URL but that too only directs to the homepage 01:47 - You are correct when the user uses the Wordpress login area they are then able to access the beautiful new 4.0 dashboard area 03:09 - Demo 8 Menu and Login area looks really cool. Can I have that while keeping the rest of the theme in tact. I really don't want to have to go through all the customizations just to get that nice menu. What do you think? Thanks for your help again! 5 star from us here at the Trott Bailey University. We changed our theme demo from Demo 5 which was giving us a lot of the menu issues to Demo 8 which is now working really great. I have a few new queries but I will ask in a new topic since most of these issues are resolved. Thanks for your help, you can close this topic.
