The scenario should be for "registered user" but not logged in while checking the site, courses. And, from our courses s/he decided to purchase a paid course. So, s/he go to that course page, click on the "TAKE THIS COURSE" button, the POPUP box appears, s/he put the USER NAME and PASSWORD and click on LOG IN.
Please try this ONLY, and not others. I'm not referring to other system.
After LOG IN, 'that' chosen course should be on their 'Cart' and/or they should be redirected to the 'Checkout' page to complete the purchase.

We cannot add right now any custom code to achieve this functionality. But I have an alternative for this.
Go to wp-admin > LMS > Student Login Redirect > Same page > Save
Whenever the user clicks on to take this course when he is not logged in then a popup appears to log in. After Login the user will be redirected to the same course page. It will be easier for the user. He need not search for the course and he can move to the checkout page from here. Check the video

Sorry, this won't work for us, and will clash with the logged in student (old) setup!
A custom code (maybe a filter) would be great! We're giving you too much pain, but, you're always ready to help us out. This really is amazing! Your help for this custom code would help us create a better elearning space for our students. Can you do it for us? Please!!!

The thing you want is whenever a registered user clicks on to take this course button. After Login he will be redirected to the checkout page.
Actually, this is not available right now. This is already in our planned features list.
There is no filter present so I can't help you to customize this using any custom code
.
