May 2, 2020 at 3:50 am #255993gasmsyParticipantThe DWQA Question Tab on Course page displays questions from other courses. Student sees questions in courses he is not registered into and answers them. https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cYhne5BafR OR How do you restrict course questions using DWQA questions tag, as explained in the video below? https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/using-dwqa-with-wplms/May 4, 2020 at 11:34 am #256504Anshuman SahuKeymasterHi in your site the question is not being connected to the course , its only connecting to unit . Please share your valid ftp credentials in private reply in order to check this issue .May 4, 2020 at 11:41 am #256508Anshuman SahuKeymasterCan you please share the pro version with us .I have free version , maybe something got changed in pro version .May 5, 2020 at 8:39 am #256815gasmsyParticipant@ Alex. I have been thinking. If it can disturb the programming already done on my site, where QUESTIONS APPEAR UNDER UNITS, then we can allow it like that. Maybe I should say, close this topic. Thanks for the work done.May 5, 2020 at 7:47 pm #257001gasmsyParticipant@Alex, Sorry about the mix reactions. I am coming back to my initial worry. My instructors are saying they prefer to have the course questions on the course page to permit them manage them well. They will not have time to get into the units one after the other to look for questions. For my site, can you write a code like: course question = sum of unit questions for that course? I think that would help solve the problem faster. Thanks again.May 6, 2020 at 9:57 am #257143gasmsyParticipantPlease anybody to come to my aid? I really need support to take the site forward.May 6, 2020 at 11:43 pm #257312gasmsyParticipantPlease any way forward?May 7, 2020 at 12:24 pm #257485Anshuman SahuKeymasterThis reply has been marked as private.May 8, 2020 at 6:16 am #257692gasmsyParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.May 8, 2020 at 7:57 am #257723gasmsyParticipant@ Alex, With respect to your reply below: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/sell-unit-content-shortcode/ please hold-on on this post. Let me try out what you are proposing and get back to you. This is because if I am to sell units, then since the questions will be under units, the unit together with the questions will be blocked from the student. PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THIS TOPIC FOR NOW. I WILL TELL YOU IF YOU HAVE TO CLOSE IT. BUT NO FURTHER MODIFICATIONS SHOULD BE DONE AS WELL ON THE SITE PERTAINING TO THIS!!! Thanks for your usual help.May 9, 2020 at 10:19 pm #258069gasmsyParticipant@Alex, I am back and this is what I did. I have restricted 'Questions' on 'Course Menu' for Instructors. In that case, students will have to get to their respective units to get the questions asked and the answers given. So if a student does not buy a unit, he/she will not see the questions under that unit, but the instructors will see them at the Course Menu level. So in a nutshell, let us see how to restrict course questions on course page for that course ONLY. You have my account details above.May 11, 2020 at 1:41 pm #258341Anshuman SahuKeymasterYou can set the tab privacy from wp-admin ->lms -> settings -> course menu : http://prntscr.com/sepya9May 11, 2020 at 5:18 pm #258402gasmsyParticipant@Alex, I had done what you are saying. What is left to be done as far as this issue is concerned is captured in the screen record below: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cYhXbDg5AtMay 13, 2020 at 1:33 pm #259067Anshuman SahuKeymasterOk issue is fixed , there are some differences in free and pro plugins .May 14, 2020 at 12:45 pm #259403gasmsyParticipant@Alex, I had 2 main problems:
- Questions should appear under units;
Course questions should appear under the Questions Tab on Course Menu.
All have been solved. I just tried them out. Thank you very much for the help. As I use to say, you are really formidable. Thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks!!!
