It might be possible that its appearing due to some third party plugin. This works fine at my setup of multisite : http://prntscr.com/kng0vo but at your end .we cant even access wp-activate.php refer : http://prntscr.com/kng1s0 So im lost without an error , which file to check , from where the issue is appearing . I might also be a .htaccess rule or something else .August 27, 2018 at 2:58 pm #173769MrVibeKeymasterChecking site...August 27, 2018 at 3:12 pm #173770MrVibeKeymasterI am seeing pretty wierd things in your site. Fist of all you've enabled free registrations and on that you've enabled site creation for all users which is totally not recommended. This means anyone can create an account in your site and create a new site in your setup. By default any user who creates a new site becomes administrator of the site and ha all the access. So he can upload any malware, any script in your site and can easily hack into your dabatase and take over everything. I am already seeing scipts being loaded in runtime from other sites : http://prntscr.com/kng8h0 This can obviously infect other parts of wordpress and can be one of the main reasons of the strange issues you're facing in your site. I am inspecting further and will update below.August 27, 2018 at 3:22 pm #173771MrVibeKeymasterAs feared your site is infected with malware as reported by sucuri please check this link : https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/sronulms.com So far it has not been detected by search engines. So you need to act fast to get the malware removed from your site, so that your site is not blacklisted by search engines otherwise after removal you will also need to contact all those sites who marked you for malware and get yourself removed. Do you have old backups available ? Try restoring the most recent backup. Although this is not covered in theme support, I will try and help you at my level.August 27, 2018 at 3:25 pm #173772MrVibeKeymasterI have disabled registration in your site by setting registration page as none in Network settings - BuddyPress - PagesAugust 27, 2018 at 3:29 pm #173773MrVibeKeymasterI think this is a critical case as malware needs to be cleaned up in your site. HEre' are the points of action that I would take :
- Re-updating wordpress, removes all malware from header.
- removing all cache folders as it is the main target of hackers
- Checking wp-content folder, for suspicius files.
- Run a Virus scanner in cPanel in the home directory.
August 27, 2018 at 3:31 pm #173775MrVibeKeymasterWordPress re-installed : http://prntscr.com/kngjgwAugust 27, 2018 at 3:41 pm #173776MrVibeKeymasterThe Original issue of activating account seems to be resolved with WordPress re-installed.August 27, 2018 at 3:43 pm #173777MrVibeKeymasterThe malware still exists as the console log in browser keeps on refreshing and scripts are loaded in runtime. Following folders need to be inspected and if possible try removing and re-installing all the plugins again. remove plugin by deleting the folder from cPAnel and add the plugin again from WP Admin - plugins. http://prntscr.com/kngnp0August 27, 2018 at 8:36 pm #173804derrickSpectatorok. thanks for your insightful comments. im on it.August 27, 2018 at 9:39 pm #173806derrickSpectatorThis reply has been marked as private.August 27, 2018 at 9:56 pm #173808derrickSpectatorThis reply has been marked as private.August 27, 2018 at 10:14 pm #173810derrickSpectatorim getting more errors. kindly log in to see for yourself this errors on the homepage.August 28, 2018 at 2:20 pm #173933Anshuman SahuKeymasterThis reply has been marked as private. -
