Fatal Error, Crashes Web & Localhost Site

Hello Support Team, After trying to install the theme in my WAMP localhost site, both are completely down and I can't get into WP to deactivate the theme. Last relevant information here - I don't have C-Panel access with my current hosting, so I tried unzipping the theme locally and then uploading the files via ftp. When the site crashed I assumed it was probably me uploading wrong so I created a localhost installation using WAMP to create the site there and then upload the whole site to my host. However, when I 'uploaded' the theme into my localhost and unzipped as if I was in C-Panel I got the exact same error message. Thank you for your help.

Please refer this tutorial to install the wplms theme manually : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1F04Q6AGsU It seems like either you have uploaded the theme in wrong path or it was not  uploaded properly . you have to upload the zipped file in your wp-content/themes folder and then unzip it . Then access your wp-admin panel . If you are still not able to install the theme then please share your valid ftp credentials ,site url and admin credentials in a private reply . We will install the theme for you . Please also make sure that you have atleast this php configuration on your host (contact host ) : WP Memory Limit: 128 MB    WP Max Upload Size: 64 MB PHP Post Max Size: 64 MB PHP Time Limit: 240 PHP Max Input Vars: 1000

Alex, Thank you for the follow up - can we set up a session where you set me up locally on my computer?  If you can set me up locally I can run with it from there. I'm about to switch hosting anyways and when I went to give you ftp access I found I now have access to another one of their client's sites and not my own :( If you can suggest a time or times in EST I can work around your schedule over the weekend to get this resolved. Alex, Thanks for the response again.  So, I've tried that tutorial a bunch of times on both my localhost and as best I could on the hosted site. Both times the sites completely crash and I can't get to the WP login screen anymore and I'm completely locked out. I've tried reinstalling WP a couple of times on my local PC to try some variations of the install but it keeps giving me the same fatal error. Okay your wplms theme is in right folder . Can you please make sure that you are not uploading the whole wplms package . you have to upload the wplms.zip file in wplms package that you download . All these errors are appearing due to wrong file paths . We would need a hosting setup to check the issue at your end . Can you please provide admin credentials ans site url of the setup that is online in a private reply ?

Alex, Yes, I've tried to follow the instructions several times exactly like in the video.  I am doing this on my local PC and still getting the same error.  My ftp access does not allow unzipping of files so this has been a lot harder than it should be. ftp.dokodemoeigo.jp  PORT 21 username: dokodemoeigo.jp pw3rd: betA5ubg Thank you, Drew

The errors indicate some issue in downloaded file itself. Please re-download the theme from your themeforest account and try again. Also make sure when you upload the files to your server via FTP or CPanel the folder permissions are set to 755. ps. : Use Cpanel or SSH for unzipping the files rather than uploading all the files via FTP.

If you're setting up the theme on localhost on "Windows" (not mac, not linux), we've seen that the "Max time execution" limit parameter restricts the one click setup, so you need to set this to permissible limts like 300-600 seconds.

@yetijoe, To Change the maximum time execution, you need to modify php.ini file and then restart your server. But some of the users do not have access to modify the file. Then, contact your webhost server to modify these files and make sure the server should be restarted after modifying the file. Please Create your own topics for your own issues.
