July 21, 2016 at 6:29 pm #59716eadseespSpectatorHi, I'm having the same problem as this guy here : Google Maps doesn't work. Though, in my case, I've set up the Google API key and I'm still getting the same error. This is happening in two of my WPLMs: http://cenpiz.com.br/contact-us/ http://academiasobest.com.br/contato/ I had this same problem in the past, but somehow it returned. Can you guys help?July 22, 2016 at 7:52 am #59818Anshuman SahuKeymasterI am not being able to access any of the links provided by you . refer : http://prntscr.com/bw0wpu http://prntscr.com/bw0wtb Can you please check js error on that page and share screenshot of it : https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_ErrorsJuly 22, 2016 at 12:07 pm #59881eadseespSpectatorYes, sure. I've printed both the message and the JS Error in the image below. Refer link: http://prnt.sc/bw3qzpJuly 23, 2016 at 6:33 am #60022Anshuman SahuKeymasterThanks for sharing the screenshot . The error is clearly showing that api key is missing . Please make sure that your wplms theme is updated to the latest version 2.1.1 . Make sure that you have added the api key in your wplms -> miscellaneous -> " Google Maps API Key " : http://prntscr.com/bpumgh . Please also try clearing any kind of cache that you may have enabled . Clear browser cache .Clear cache in plugin settings (if you are using any caching plugins). If all of the above pointers are checked and still facing the same issue then please provide your site url (make sure that it would be accesible to us ) ,and admin credentials to check the issue at your end . PS : mark reply as private while sharing credentials .July 26, 2016 at 12:52 pm #60640eadseespSpectatorYes, l've added the API key and cleared cache to no avail. http://prntscr.com/bxpeti I'm having this problem in two WPLMS: http://cenpiz.com.br/contact-us/ http://academiasobest.com.br/contato The username and password are the same for both: Username: educat Password: Educ071016July 27, 2016 at 6:36 am #60758Anshuman SahuKeymasterOkay i checked both of your sites . It seems like that you have not enabled the Google maps javascript in your api settings . Please enabled the Google maps in your app settings for the api key . refer : http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDit1vi565 And this must the settings in the credentials screen : http://prntscr.com/by1emg When i pasted my api key in your site maps api key settings it worked fine . check : http://prntscr.com/by1ezmJuly 27, 2016 at 12:06 pm #60838eadseespSpectatorI solved it! My Google Maps JavaScript API was already active. http://prntscr.com/by4wgm So, I deactivated and activated again and now I got this error: Referer Not Allowed. Google is supposed to show this message when you try to use the API Key in a page that wasn't allowed back in the API settings. As it happens, I'm pretty sure I have allowed it, but this stubborn Google Maps wasn't working yet. So, I deleted, recreated it a number of times. Each time, I put the referer there, saved it, went to my website to verify and when I went back to the API Console, the referer was mysteryously gone! I mean, the global referer I entered was still there, but the others disappeared and Google Maps was still not working. So, I decided to remove all referers and now it seems to work fine in both sites. Phew! Why does Google have to make things so difficult? Thanks for your support.
