We have embedded the video file from Amazon S3 account with the help of WPLMS S3 plugin. While testing, we observed that it is easy downloaded by IDM and other software. How to prevent the videos from downloading?
It is possible to protect videos by streaming it via Cloudfare.
This is in "To do" list for WPLMS S3 plugin. We'll add inbuilt support for streaming videos in the S3 plugin soon.

As per your plugin intro, it will prevent video download then how to achieve it ?
It would be difficult to prevent people from downloading/pirating a video/content ....you can make it a bit difficult but can't stop it.
The Music/Movie industry with Billions of Dollars couldn't do it, how are you going to do it?
If you are worried about getting your content stolen then don't sell online....teach live in a classroom (alas people can bring recorders and record your lecture in classroom as well).

Exactly. I hope I get what was advertised. Cos I dont want my videos to be downloaded.
I just tested and I can download my videos.
IF you simply remove the query strings at the end of your URL, the item can be downloaded easily without time expiry - which defeats our purpose.
How can I prevent totally the download of items from my S3 Bucket (at least for direct S3 URLs)?

@webcreativeng : Are your video permission level in S3 set as public ? Otherwise videos can not be downloaded directly from S3. The whole point of WPLMS s3 is that it would work with private files and generate an expiring link, so that user can not access the resource after x minutes/sections
Yes, after x minutes, its NOT available IF you put the whole link.... If you remove the query strings from the link, its accessible.
E.g:

If you remove the query strings and it is accessible it means the resource is public, please check the bucket or the resource settings.
